The YGQ-CSBLU ultrasonic level meter emits ultrasonic pulses from the probe, which are transmitted at the speed of sound waves. When they encounter the surface of the measured medium, they are reflected, and some of the reflected echoes are received by the same probe and converted into electrical signals. Due to the fact that the distance from the probe to the surface of the measured medium is directly proportional to the time required from emission to reception of the same ultrasonic pulse, the height of the measured medium can be calculated.
